There are many kinds of frequency converter, but when it comes to the protection function of frequency converter, the protection function is much the same, mainly around the fault protection of the frequency converter, usually refers to the protection function of the drive system including the frequency converter. What protection functions does the inverter have?
, overvoltage protection: the output of the inverter has a voltage detection function, the inverter can automatically adjust the output voltage, so that the motor does not withstand overvoltage. Even when the output voltage adjustment fails and the output voltage exceeds 110% of the normal voltage, the inverter will also protect the motor by stopping.
, undervoltage protection: when the voltage of the motor is lower than 90% of the normal voltage, the inverter protection stops.
, overcurrent protection: when the motor current exceeds the rated value of 150%/3 seconds, or rated current of 200%/10 microseconds, the inverter through shutdown to protect the motor.
, phase loss protection: monitor the output voltage, when the output phase loss, frequency converter alarm, after a period of time by stopping to protect the motor.
, reverse phase protection: the inverter makes the motor only rotate in one direction, can not set the direction of rotation, unless the user changes the phase sequence of the motor A, B, C wiring, otherwise there is no possibility of reverse phase.
, overload protection: the inverter monitors the motor current, when the motor current exceeds 120% of the rated current /1 minute, the inverter protects the motor by stopping.
, grounding protection: the inverter is equipped with a special grounding protection circuit, generally composed of grounding protection transformer and relay, when a phase or two phase ground, the inverter alarm. Of course, if the user requires, we can also be designed to protect the shutdown immediately after grounding.
, short circuit protection: After the inverter output short circuit, it will inevitably cause overcurrent, and the inverter will protect the motor by stopping in 10 microseconds.
, overclocking protection: the inverter has the maximum and minimum frequency limit function, so that the output frequency can only be within the specified range, thus achieving the overclocking protection function.
, stall protection: stall protection is generally for synchronous motors. For asynchronous motor, the stall during acceleration must be shown as overcurrent, and the inverter realizes this protection function through overcurrent and overload protection. Stalling during deceleration can be avoided by setting a safe deceleration time during debugging.
